The finish is planned in the Theater Square in the seaport of Klaipėda on Saturday, his team said.

On the 44th day of his running, Girdzijauskas is feeling well. He chose somewhat shorter distances of 50-60 km on the last few days. His route runs across from Zelenogradsk in the Russian Kaliningrad region to the Lithuanian resort of Nida.

Girdzijauskas started his tour, titled Running The Baltic Seaside ECHO Lifestyle, on August 1 and has already covered 3,500km through Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Poland.

He was accompanied by a team of volunteers in charge of organizational matters, accommodation, etc.
