The Bobcats earned their 41st win, assuring them of their first non-losing season since 2009-2010. THE LEAD: Al Jefferson scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, both game highs, to lead the Charlotte Bobcats (41-39) to a 111-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers (17-63) on Saturday night at Time Warner Cable Arena. It was Jefferson's sixth straight game with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. Luke Ridnour added 12 points and eight assists as the Bobcats won their fourth straight game at home. Michael Carter-Williams scored 23 points and dished out eight assists for the 76ers, who have lost six of their last seven games. QUOTABLE: "Really just trying to help everybody get easy baskets. That's what I am out there to do. Just run the team. Kemba [Walker] is a big part of what we do, so I am not trying to replace him, just come in to see what I can do to help us win games. And this was an ugly win but we won so we will take it." -- Bobcats point guard Luke Ridnour on filling in for the injured Walker THE STAT: Ridnour's 12 points and eight assists were both season highs for him in a Bobcats uniform as the veteran guard played more than 30 minutes for only the second time since joining the team. TURNING POINT: After the 76ers held a three-point lead at the half, the Bobcats outscored the visitors 31-19 in the third quarter to take a nine-point lead into the final period. Ridnour scored a team-high eight points in the quarter and the Bobcats never trailed again. QUOTABLE II: "Says a lot. You know we stick together and we don't give up. You know we are going to fight until we have no more games left." -- 76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams on battling back from a 16-point deficit HOT: Jefferson continued his stellar play, notching his seventh straight double-double, the third-longest streak in Bobcats history. NOT: Brandon Davies was matched up against Jefferson for most of the night and it did not go well. The 76ers forward was held scoreless on 0-for-4 shooting from the field and fouled out in only 12 minutes of action. INSIDE THE ARENA: The Bobcats showed a video tribute at halftime looking back at memories of the past 10 years of the franchise. Next season the Bobcats will change their name to the Charlotte Hornets. FANTASY SPOTLIGHT: Jefferson continues to put up some of the best numbers in the league for a center. After starting the season banged up with an ankle injury, he's now recorded 40 double-doubles on the season and is the only player in the Eastern Conference to average at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. ROOKIE WATCH: Carter-Williams has now scored in double figures 59 times this season. The guard also added eight assists and seven rebounds against the Bobcats, continuing to average over six assists and six rebounds for the season. NOTABLE: With the win, Charlotte took the season series over Philadelphia 3-1. ... The Bobcats are now 18-9 since the All-Star break and are 13-2 in their last 15 home games. ...
