After successive nights of bombardments by allied forces Libyan state run TV has broadcast a defiant speech by the Libyan leader.
"We will not surrender," said Muammar Gaddafi. "We will defeat them by any means, All armies of the Muslim world must take part in this fight. There are demonstrations everywhere, in Europe, Asia and America, against this
unjustified assault. It breaches the United Nations' charter. This assault ... is by a bunch of fascists who will end up in the dustbin of history."
