Tough love: Shocking moment dad KICKED his hesitant 6-year-old son down skate ramp
A man was caught on video kicking his child off of a skate ramp platform in a shocking video - and turning away as his son yells in pain.
Ryan Stephens, 13, uploaded the video of Marcus Crossland kicking his 6-year-old son off the platform at Jacksonville's Kona State Park to Instagram, First Coast News reports. The footage gained attention when it was shared by an account called IGersJax, which documents life in the city.
Martin Ramos, the skate park's operator, told the website that the duo are regulars at the park but that he hadn't seen Crossland act that way before.
'He said he was just caught up in the moment. He seemed very remorseful. He certainly understands the gravity of the situation and it seems like he is going to be answering to this thing for quite some time to come,' he said.
