Audronė Ranonytė appointed NASDAQ OMX Baltic bourse head of communications

Audronė Ranonytė, a journalist and public relations professional, has become the head of communications at the NASDAQ OMX Baltic stock exchanges. She will also be in charge of communications and public relations at the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius stock exchange and the Lithuanian Central Securities Depository.

Ranonytė told BNS that she had taken up her new position on Monday.

Before her new appointment, Ranonytė had worked for four years at the public relations agency Publicum Financial Communications, following more than ten years as head of the Financial Markets Unit at the business daily Verslo Žinios.

In 1993 Ranonytė joined a team that set up the National Stock Exchange of Lithuania. She was in charge of public and investor relations and market analysis, and was the editor of the stock exchange bulletin.

Ranonytė is a member of the Financial Analysts' Association.
