“We can actually state that Lithuania is in the top ten by beer consumption per capita,” Aušra Vasiljevienė, the company’s marketing director, said at a press conference on Tuesday.
The company, referring to various sources and its own estimations, said that an average Lithuanian consumed 101.4 liters of beer last year, which was the sixth largest average rate worldwide behind the Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany, Austria, and Australia.
Lithuania was followed by the UK, Poland, and Denmark, the company added.
