Norbertas Žioba steps in as marketing and sales director at Maxima LT

Norbertas Žioba, former head of business development at Danske Bank’s Lithuanian branch, has been appointed to head the marketing and sales department at Maxima LT, the operator of the largest grocery chain in the Baltic countries.

“The marketing and sales department is one of the key departments for assuring the company’s business functions. Žioba has been chosen to head this department due to his knowledge, competence, and long-term experience acquired during work in companies,” Maxima LT CEO Arūnas Zimnickas said in a press release.

Žioba started his career as an assistant brand manager at the Lithuanian office of Procter & Gamble, and later worked as marketing director at Ringuva, the Lithuanian soap manufacturer. He also worked as marketing director at the telecommunications company Bite Lietuva and spent last nine years as the head of business development at the Lithuanian branch of Danske bank.
