“It [the wind farm] was a pilot project. Now we will try to develop this activity in Scandinavia together with partners. We have bigger plans for Poland for the next several years but it is too early to speak about that,“ Scaent Baltic chairman Jonas Garbaravičius said in a press release.

Garbaravičius has recently joined the board of Sweden’s Inter Green Renewables and Trading, which is controlled by Inter RAO UES.

He will be responsible for electricity trade and renewable energy projects and their development in Sweden, Finland and Poland.

Garbaravičius will continue to chair the board of Scaent Baltic and will be responsible for the concern’s strategy and development. He will also continue to sit on the board of Inter RAO Lietuva.

Stockholm-based Inter Green Renewables and Trading trades in electricity on Scandinavian market and invests in renewables. The company works with renewable energy and investment funds.

Inter RAO UES owns 75 percent of Inter Green Renewables and Trading and investment fund CEE Green Energy Fund holds the remaining 25 percent.

Scaent Baltic, which employs a workforce of more than 500, posted 1.4 billion litas (EUR 405.8 m) in non-consolidated turnover for 2011.
