Analysts: J. Biden’s meeting with G. Nausėda is a signal for both Lithuania and Russia

Having arrived at the NATO summit meeting, US President Joe Biden found time in Brussels to sit down for a separate conversation with the three Baltic States’ leaders. Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda traditionally requested for more US troops to be dispatched. Experts consulted by 15min say that this meeting is an important signal for all of Northern Europe and for Russia, particularly considering that J. Biden is due to meet with the Kremlin’s owner Vladimir Putin in Geneva on Wednesday.
