Intrigue: S. Skvernelis’ plans include not only a new Seimas group but also new “Greens”?

With tensions increasing even further between opposition leader Saulius Skvernelis and Lithuanian Farmer and Greens Union (LVŽS) chairman Ramūnas Karbauskis at the end of summer, this has sparked talks that once the Seimas autumn session launches, the former prime minister will establish his own Seimas group, which will draw in his allies among the “Farmers.” However, 15min has unofficially found out that supposedly, S. Skvernelis is currently deciding whether to tie his political future to a new political power – the Lithuanian Green Party (LŽP).
