"The arguments are totally unfounded and do not match the spirit of NATO-Russian partnership," says the document signed by Chairmen of the Committees on Foreign Affairs of the Lithuanian Seimas and the Polish Sejm, Emanuelis Zingeris and Grzegorz Schetyna.

"The Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Sejm of Poland and the Seimas of Lithuania underline that the European Union, NATO and their members pose no threat to the Russian Federation and do not consider the Russian Federation an enemy," the statement said.
