"I am convinced that Georgia has chosen the right path, and I hope you will not change that path for the sake of a better life of your children and grandchildren. I hope that it will be so after this day's meeting and visit of our delegation," she said.
The speaker also had a conversation with David Bakradze, leader of the Georgian parliamentary opposition, who assured her that, despite differences with the incumbent government on various issues, both the parliamentary position and opposition share the same position on Georgia's EU integration.
The opposition leader also asked Lithuania for full support for Georgia's efforts.
Graužinienė also had a non-planned meeting with a group of female MPs and urged them to take active part and make use of all opportunities to achieve Georgia's European integration goals.
