The period from a show car to the series production vehicle: We accompanied the ID. Buzz development, and the people who created it, for nearly two years. We were there when the first cars had been hand-crafted in the prototype shop at Volkswagen in Osnabrück for test purposes, and during the following endurance tests in hot and cold weather. We met the interior and exterior designers and the people who will assemble the ID. Buzz in the future.
The ID. Buzz connects the Volkswagen Bus series with the ID. family, and forms the bridge from the past into the future. It also represents a new era of mobility at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles – fully electric and as of 2025 even autonomous.
