Local news stations reports as many as 40 cars were involved in this chain reaction crash on Highway 73 near Port Arthur, 90 miles east of Houston.
The accident forced officials to shut down all eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway just west of Taylor's Bayou. Local news stations report fog and smoke from nearby wildfires may have caused the huge wreck.
