Hearts picked up their first SPL win since the opening day of the season in emphatic fashion as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice. Callum Paterson scored twice - his first goals for the club - and Arvydas Novikovas grabbed the other as John McGlynn's side won at Tannadice for the first time since 2009.
