A Chinese boy gave authorities in Hezhang County a bit of a headache - when he managed to get his head firmly lodged in a stone balustrade.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the accident, which unfolded on the stairway of local government building.
Using hydraulic spreading pliers, firefighters expanded the gap in the balustrade and shielded the boy's head from falling debris.
