Gutless French officials drag homeless man to the ground and take his puppy
French animal rights activists have been filmed confiscating a puppy from a homeless man, who wails in despair as the animal is taken away.
Footage of the incident, which took place in the capital Paris, shows a man and woman wrestling the homeless man to the ground as the terrified puppy tries to hide beneath its owner's suitcases. The heartbreaking scenes in Paris show the man screaming in anguish as he is dragged to the floor in a struggle with a man and woman. They have picked up the man's puppy and raced up the street. A second man, wearing black then takes the puppy in a slick transfer which looks pre-planned.The crying man, who seems to be homeless as he leaves behind a suitcase and collection cup, sets off in pursuit. It is reported that the puppy-takers are from the Cause Animale Nord, a French animal rights group.
