VLG is building 19 blocks with a total weight of 5,740 tons for STX Finland. Two months ago, it also signed a contract with Finland's Arctech to build blocks with a total weight of 2,470 tons for an ice-breaker.

"The Finnish market is interesting and attractive to our group's companies," Arnoldas Šileika, the CEO of VLG, said in a press release.

VLG has a joint venture with Finland's Cargotec, named MacGregor BLRT Baltic, and a joint venture with Wartsila, named Wartsila BLRT Lietuva.

BLRT Grupp owns 96.82 percent of shares in VLG.
