Taiwanese Minister Ming-hsin Kung – about Lithuania’s strengths and the two countries’ looming plans

Visiting Lithuania at the head of a delegation of tens of Taiwanese companies, the country’s Minister of National Development Ming-hsin Kung said in an interview with 15min that he sees various opportunities for strengthening the two countries’ cooperation, but he didn’t indicate yet whether Lithuania will catch the eyes of Taiwan’s semiconductor sector, which is planning to invest billions of euro into expansion in the coming years. According to him, this will depend on what sort of Lithuania it might find in this sector. This will be something that a specially assembled workgroup will begin assessing already next year.
