Softex Baltic starts distributing China’s Kingsoft software in Lithuania

Lithuanian company Softex Baltic has started distributing software by China’s Kingsoft in Lithuania this year, the Verslo Žinios business daily reports on Wednesday.

Softex Baltic was established in January.

Hong Kong-listed Kingsoft offers an office suite, which can be used both at home and in the office as a cheaper alternative to Microsoft Office.

Softex Baltic currently employs a workforce of 2 and provides services by phone. The customers have to install the software themselves. The Lithuanian company plans to hire more experts as business evolves. It is also negotiating dealership deals with several other software developers.
