“We want to provide consumers with a possibility to choose between self-service and full-service gas stations. With this measure, we also hope to attract more price-sensitive consumers and those who are in a hurry,” Lietuva Statoil CEO Giedrius Bandzevičius said at a news conference on Tuesday.

The company had invested more than 7 million litas in the upgrade and expansion of its unmanned gas station chain Statoil 1-2-3 this year, Skirmantas Maciukas, director of gas stations chain at Lietuva Statoil, said.

Lietuva Statoil currently runs 13 unmanned gas stations called Statoil 1-2-3.

Neste Lietuva runs Lithuania’s largest chain of unmanned gas stations, which includes 57 outlets.
