“We think that we spend too much money on advertising in Lithuania’s media. Our goal is to reduce the budget by 10-15 percent and use the savings for the improvement of communication quality in the country and maintenance of low prices,” Olsson told the Verslo Žinios business daily. According to him, the sum allocated by Tele2 for advertising in Lithuania’s media is larger than the respective amount in Latvia or Estonia.
Lithuania’s major telecommunications operators spent 120 million litas (EUR 34.78m, not including discounts) on media advertising between January and August, data from TNS LT has shown. The largest amount was invested by Tele2.
