“It is the next consecutive step in implementing the strategic goals of our company to enter the ground services markets in other European countries. The launch of operations by Baltic Ground Services IT in Italy will expand the supply of ground services for the airlines active in that market and will offer them wider choice,” Saulius Batavičius, CEO of Baltic Ground Services, said in a press release.
Baltic Ground Services intends to launch operations at Lamezia Terme Airport by the end of this year. Next year the company plans to roll out its services in other Italy’s airports.
Baltic Ground Services holds licenses to provide passenger and aircraft ground services in Lithuania (Vilnius and Palanga) and in Poland's six largest airports, including Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan, and Katowice.
