Billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson to come to Lithuania

British billionaire Richard Branson intends to come to Lithuania in early June to give an address in a leadership forum.

Branson, founder of Virgin Group, is expected to deliver a speech at a leadership forum at Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas on June 2, public relations company Strateginių Komunikacijų Centras (Center for Strategic Communications) said.

According to the press release, Branson's visit is organized by businessman Vladas Lašas in cooperation with Success Star International holding business and leadership events.

"The fact is that I will shake hands with my friend Richard Branson here in Lithuania this summer is especially pleasant to me personally and to me as a Lithuanian," Lašas said in the press release.

Branson is a prominent British businessman who has founded and heads Virgin Group, also an active public figure and philanthropist.

Virgin Group includes more than 400 companies and has 50,000 employees in 30 countries around the globe, the group's annual revenue is more than 21 billion US dollars.
