eBay has developed a new program aimed at small and medium businesses that hold more than 100 different items in their inventory. Eligible businesses will get a free Premium or Megastore level eBay Store subscription for three months, access to the export training program, 50,000 free listings right up until July and an opportunity to get the assistance of a personal growth advisor.
Ilya Kretov, General Manager for eBay on Global Emerging Markets:
“The crisis caused by the pandemic forces entrepreneurs to look for alternative ways of business development. Our data shows that export is now one of them. Earlier this year we held a webinar for hundreds of Baltic sellers, where we had a chance to learn more about their experience and business cases. It inspired us to launch the Always Open program in Lithuania, after all, Lithuania is a priority market for my team at eBay – the market has a strong export potential and unique products to share with the whole world. There are more than 11 000 active sellers from Lithuania, many of them for more than decade build their businesses with eBay. Today we would like to help more small and medium enterprises to get through the crisis and keep their stores open during the quarantine. Our newly launched Always Open on eBay program is to support Lithuanian entrepreneurs and give them an opportunity to be independent from any obstacle now and in the future.”
