EVP International expects to create Lithuanian version of eBay

EVP International, which is Lithuania's first licensed electronic money institution and owns the online payment service Mokejimai.lt, sees the creation of a Lithuanian version of eBay as its key goal, the business daily Verslo Žinios reports.

EVP International would thus consolidate its positions in processing electronic payments between buyers and sellers.

The company expects to attract more visitors to its classified ads site called Rinka.lt.

"We will introduce new services after we reach a critical mass of visitors, 15,000 visits per day. Currently, 7,000 people visit Rinka.lt daily," EVP International Director Kostas Noreika told the paper.
