Some 12 percent of the polled said that they worked flexibly full time now and 55 percent said that they worked flexibly several hours a week, according to the poll results unveiled by Microsoft in Vilnius on Wednesday.

Some 70 percent of the polled said that their employers provided a possibility to work flexibly, and 30 percent replied that they did not have such an option. Some 76 percent of the polled said that they used a smartphone for work.

Microsoft polled 765 Lithuania’s residents online in April.

The Seimas (parliament) passed amendments to the Labor Code in 2010, providing a possibility to apply more flexible working arrangements.
