FSRU Independence repayment costs to be decreased, but at the cost of future generations

The repayment for the Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) Independence will be extended to 2044 because it has been proposed to spread out its payments. Due to this, it is promised that the annual tax burden on residents will be decreased, however will gas be needed in 20 years? 15min discussed this with the was discussed at the Klaipėdos Nafta [Klaipėda Oil] LNG director Arūnas Molis.
