Lithuania hires Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas for Swiss franc-denominated bond offering

Lithuania has hired Switzerland’s Credit Suisse and France’s BNP Paribas for its potential first-ever Swiss franc-denominated bond offering, the Verslo Žinios business daily reports citing sources.

According to the sources, the banks will reportedly organize a road show in Switzerland.

This does not mean that Lithuania will necessarily issue the Swiss franc-denominate bond, the daily reports. However, the securities might be issued if the potential demand appears sufficient.

Information about the terms of the bond and the size of the offering is not available yet.
