The contract signed in mid-January is worth 597,000 litas (EUR 173,043). Kaleidoscope was the sole bidder in a respective tender, according to the data published in the central public procurement portal.
The service stated that Enterprise Lithuania violated the principle of transparency and failed to achieve the aim of procurement when buying services from Kaleidoscope.
Enterprise Lithuania will organize an international life sciences forum ‘Life Sciences Baltics 2012’, which is expected to be attended by 300-400 experts from across the world, in Vilnius in September. It will reportedly be the first such event in Lithuania and the largest in the Baltic countries.

Lithuania’s business promotion agency told to terminate contract with Israel’s Kaleidoscope
Lithuania’s governmental business promotion agency Enterprise Lithuania will have to terminate a contract concluded with Tel Aviv company Kaleidoscope on the development of a concept for the international life sciences forum ‘Life sciences Baltics 2012’, publicity measures and consulting, the Public Procurement Service has ruled.
