Lithuania’s Internet usage drops in winter

Some 62.8 percent of the Lithuanian population used the Internet at least once a week this past winter, down 1.2 percentage points from 64 percent last fall, according to a survey published by TNS LT.

Report mistake

The percentage of those who browsed the net at least once a month shrank by 0.3 points, to 66.7 percent, from 67 percent in fall, the market research company said.

Some 67.1 percent of the population went online at least once in six months, down 0.9 points from 68 percent.

TNS LT polled 1,672 residents of Lithuania between 28 November and 26 February.
