Lithuania’s exports to China totaled 49 million euros between January and October 2011, whereas Estonia’s exports to the country made up 131 million euros, Latvia’s – 39 million euros.
Lithuania’s imports from China amounted to 371 million euros during the same period. Latvia’s imports made up 245 million euros, and Estonia’s – 498 million euros.
Exports to China accounted for some 0.7 percent of Lithuania’s total exports in January-October.
Lithuania ’s exports last year rose by 28.9 percent, year-on-year, to 69.6 billion litas (EUR 20.2 b). In the first ten months of the year, the exports increased by 30.9 percent, year-on-year, to 63.63 billion litas. Lithuania’s key export partners last year included Russia (16.6 pct of the total exports), Latvia (10.2 pct), Germany (9.3 pct) and Poland (7 pct).
