The restrictions will apply until the origin of the virus is discovered, the State Food and Veterinary Service (VMVT) says in a press release.

The outbreak of African swine fever – the first ever in Ukraine - was registered in Ukraine’s Zaporozhye region.

The outbreak occurred in one village of the Zaporozhye region in the south-east of Ukraine. All of 198 pigs in the village have been slaughtered.
