Lithuanian economy continues to surprise: more rapid growth last year than in 2018

In 2019, Lithuania’s GDP growth was once again a standout in the Eurozone, growing 3.9% faster than a year ago and reaching 48.3 billion euro, data from the Department of Statistics to the Government of the Republic of Lithuania indicates. Economist Vaidas Navickas says that we are rapidly catching up to Western Europe and having once been called a Baltic Tiger, Lithuania can now look to take the title of Baltic Lynx.
