Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics opens station in Kyrgyzstan

FL Technics Jets, an aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services company that is owned by Lithuania's aviation group Avia Solutions Group (ASG), has established a line maintenance station in Kyrgyzstan.

FL Technics said in a press release that it had opened the station in Bishkek's Manas International Airport.

"In a few months' time, we are planning to expand our network to a total of 30 locations," FL Technics CEO Jonas Butautis said.

FL Technics currently operates two base maintenance facilities in Lithuania and Ukraine, as well as a network of 26 line stations in Europe and Asia.

ZIA Valda Cyprus held a 32.906 percent stake in Avia Solutions Group in late September 2011. Other shareholders include Indeco: Investment and Development with 21.938 percent, Harberin Enterprises with 13.191 percent and Poland's ING fund with 6.618 percent. About 18 percent of the aviation company's shares are in the free float.
