LRT not waiting for government ruling halts advertising on news portal

Three members of the ruling Lithuanian Farmer and Greens Union – Seimas Vice Speaker Arvydas Nekrošius, Seimas Legal Affairs Committee chairwoman Agnė Širinskienė and member of Seimas Valius Ąžuolas registered amendments to the Lithuanian national radio and television law, which propose to prohibit any advertising on the LRT and LRT news portal.
