Hitachi CM – a novelty in Lithuania?

Hitachi Construction Machinery is a company founded in Japan that has become a global business operating in several continents. Hitachi CM is a “hard to beat” market leader because it continues to improve and is constantly leading in innovation and the latest technologies.

Hitachi machinery has been represented by other companies in prior in this market, but recently producer decided to gain greater market share, increase access and availability of its equipment, maintenance, and parts to end-users. Thereof, the decision has been made to transfer representation rights to ALWARK Group. For Lithuanian market, Hitachi CM shall be represented by UAB Mobile Heavy Machinery being part of the ALWARK Group, whilst SIA ALWARK will represent Hitachi CM in Latvia,” stated by the general manager at MHM Mykolas Baciuška.

Quality and trust are essential

Global COVID-19 situation does not decrease optimism for the market because the newest Hitachi excavator and wheel loader models ZX210LC-6, ZX300LC-6 and ZW310-6 are successfully finding customers in Lithuania, leaving no one unimpressed, while the machinery itself is known for its quality, reliability and reputation earned for over many years- according to M. Baciuška

“Hitachi construction machinery stands out for its reliability, durability – every product is released onto the market after extensive testing. As such, every technical solution is fully developed, the machinery remains in service for a long time, and it is highly valued by operators and customers, which ensures equipment’s high residual value while in operation. Hitachi machinery is not limited just to engines, hydraulic pumps, and long booms. It is a combined coordinated system, which performs as a single entity, and so operators who begin working with Hitachi construction machinery often do not want to swap to other manufacturers machines,” M. Baciuška explains.

Buy or rent?

Present time reveals the importance for people to have the chance to try things out. It is more and more seldom than ever that people want to oblige to things and this means that businesses must adapt to meet their clients’ needs and demands. More often than ever, customers value the option not to purchase required machinery, but to borrow it instead to complete planned projects.

Leasing opportunities are important not only in the service sector but also in construction: In cooperation with Hitachi Construction Machinery, UAB Mobile Heavy Machinery can also offer non-standard machinery that matches the needs of its clients, such as specialised building demolishing excavators, long-boom excavators, or specialised digging excavators.

Current market trends show that we are increasingly more inclined to innovate with existing products, improving their effectiveness, and offering clients the most comfortable operating conditions. Hitachi offers a wide range of extra services – Rent to Rent rental program, and the fleet management app ConSite, which can be used by equipment operators to monitor technical data in real-time or over a period of time. The app communicates the manufacturer’s representative and the owner about planned maintenance or repairs,” M. Baciuška explains.

A new player in the Lithuanian market

The emergence of a new player in a market can always be viewed from multiple angles. For customers, this usually means more choice – both in terms of equipment and in terms of prices. For competitors, it can be an incentive to not rest on its laurels and improve instead. For MHM itself, cooperation with a world-renowned brand means that it will be able to offer its customers quality machinery and add a variety of selection to its already represented port cranes, hydraulic excavators, and quarry equipment.
