Gamblers left behind a total of 15.315 million litas (EUR 4.44 m) at Olympic Casino Group Baltija's casinos in the first quarter, up 5 percent from 14.546 million litas a year ago.
Gamblers' losses at Tete-a-Tete's casinos rose by 19 percent to 10.224 million litas, and losses at Top Sport's betting shops and limited prize slot machines surged by 43 percent to 7.184 million litas.
There were 12 gaming operators in the country in the reporting period.

Olympic Casino remains Lithuania's leading gambling operator
Olympic Casino Group Baltija, which is owned by the Baltics' largest gambling operator, Olympic Entertainment Group, held onto its number-one position in Lithuania's gaming market in the first quarter in terms of money won from gamblers, the State Gaming Supervisory Commission said.
