Orlen Lietuva signs EUR 2.6 billion worth of fuel supply contracts

Orlen Lietuva, Lithuania’s sole oil complex owned by Poland’s oil concern PKN Orlen, has signed approximately 9 billion litas (EUR 2.6 billion) worth of fuel supply contracts for 2012.

Switzerland’s Vitol will acquire 1.665 billion US dollars worth of fuel from Orlen Lietuva this year, Poland’s news portal wnp.pl has reported. Moreover, the Lithuanian company will sell 1.141 billion US dollars worth of fuel oil to the international logistics company Maersk.

Moreover, the company will sell gasoline to Cargill International under a contract worth 691 million US dollars.

Previous contracts concluded by Orlen Lietuva with Statoil and Lukoil and covering the year 2012 are worth 1.643 billion litas.

Orlen Lietuva posted 21.8 billion litas in revenues for 2011.
