“Consistent industry development in the industrial park of Šiauliai will both consolidate the activities of ROL group here and encourage development of the region and creation of jobs,” Milda Dargužaitė, CEO of Invest Lithuania, the government’s investment promotion agency, said in a press release.
The Swedish company will expand the manufacturing unit in new 13,000 square meters premises and will create 40 jobs.
Up to 5 million litas of EU structural support funds will be extended for the construction of ROL Production International’s manufacturing facility in the industrial park of Šiauliai under the Invest LT+ measure.
The company ROL/Statga, which has been active in Lithuania since 2005, produces furniture and retail system components, metal products for the group’s companies and external customers. The company based in Šiauliai currently employs a workforce of 120. Last year its turnover exceeded 46 million litas.

ROL Production International to build new plant in Šiauliai
Sweden’s retail systems manufacturer ROL Production International will build a manufacturing facility in the industrial park of Šiauliai. The company’s investments in the plant, which will produce metal furniture parts and retail system components, will total 20.7 million litas (EUR 6 m).
