The air carrier is yet to decide when exactly its aircraft will begin to land in Vilnius, but most probably this will happen in early summer.
It has been agreed that direct flights to Istanbul will be operated three to four times a week.
Earlier this year, Turkish Airlines said on its website that it would launch an Istanbul-Vilnius-Riga route in September, but later postponed these plans.
The airline currently flies from Riga to Istanbul five times a week.
