UK’s Callcredit to open IT center in Kaunas

The new center will create 200 jobs for IT specialists, the company says in a press release. The official opening ceremony will be held on 12 September.

Callcredit will not provide any direct services to customers in Lithuania or the Baltic countries. Instead, the unit in Kaunas will help maintain the company’s IT infrastructure in the UK. The Lithuanian service center of the UK bank Barclays operates under a similar principle.

As reported previously, Callcredit will invest in Lithuania under Invest LT+, an instrument that provides for up to 11.9 million litas in financial support to help cover construction, infrastructure, personnel training, or salary costs.
