According to Eugenijus Rudzinskas, CEO of travel agency Alfaturas, the customers became more pragmatic during the crisis and afterwards and more concerned about the price.
The recent wave of bankruptcies among Polish tour operators has not affected the willingness of Lithuania’s holidaymakers to fly to warm climates from Warsaw.
The reasons are simple, such as more attractive prices and a wider choice, in particular in winter season when the prices in Poland are between 10 and 20 percent lower than in Lithuania, the daily writes.
