The amber egg was created last year by a local artist Albertas Bukauskas, who used 15 kilos of amber for decoration.
10 two-meter high and 1.5-meter-wide Easter eggs, decorated with authentic ethnic patterns have also been installed on Palanga's main Basanavičius Street. An Easter-egg decoration school will also be opened for the festive period.
