Two Polish citizens injured in trailer accident in Lithuania

Two Polish citizens were badly injured after their trailer MAN flew off the road in Marijampolė District, southwestern Lithuania, late on Monday.

According to lrytas.lt news website, the heavy-weight vehicle fell from the height of almost 4 meters. Two Polish citizens with spinal and other injuries were hospitalized.

The driver and the passengers got stock inside the vehicle but no special equipment was needed to free them.

The accident happened at around 9 PM near the town of Liudvinavas. The trailer was bound for Marijampolė.

The investigation continues.
