Many are inclined to think that the Homeland Union (TS-LKD) is currently the most popular political power in the country. It seems to have a sizeable lead on its competitors in surveys. Recently, the party’s chairman Gabrielius Landsbergis introduced the president to the party’s electoral programme and has made fairly ambitious statements about his party’s future.
