On November 3, Astravyets Nuclear Power Plant, during so-called energy testing, generated its first electrical energy. Within half an hour, Lithuania cut off the pathways for Belarussian electricity sales to Lithuania and this means that Lithuanian consumers are not buying electricity from Belarus and thus, they are not financing the construction of Astravyets NPP.
