2020: unstable coalition, challenges to the president and revolt in Seimas

Political scientists interviewed by 15min believe that the currently largest in Seimas Lithuanian Farmer and Greens Union will fare much worse in the upcoming Seimas elections. Seimas Speaker Viktoras Pranckietis has been left without the party’s backing and according to the specialists, will seek a seat in parliament independently. As for what Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis will do – this remains a mystery.
