G. Nausėda presents tasks expected of future ministers: there will be no welfare state exams

The term “welfare state” has been a prominent narrative of President Gitanas Nausėda, indicated as a goal ever since the presidential election campaign. During his inauguration speech last July, he also indicated five criteria, based on which, he sought to “measure” across his term, how much progress has been made toward the welfare state. Now, these criteria are being brought up again and revised – they will also be presented when evaluating new ministers.
