I. Šimonytė about the closure of the border to migrants, the new lockdown and relations with G. Nausėda

With the migrant crisis continuing, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė says that for the purposes of national security, Lithuania might limit the reception of asylum seekers in locations outside border crossing points, particularly during the Zapad military exercises. In an exclusive interview with 15min, the prime minister also presented the government’s plans regarding lockdown restrictions on non-vaccinated individuals and commented on relations with President Gitanas Nausėda.
